San Francisco: Part 1

It was one of the first days we didn't have to check out of a hotel or have an activity planned early in the morning, so our day did not start until the afternoon! We still managed to fit in some fun San Francisco activities. We spent the majority of the day at Golden Gate Park where we saw a Chihuli exhibit and rented bicycles.

Here are some of Chihuli's glass pieces. Although, we later found out by watching a DVD on how he makes them that Chihuli just stands in the back corner and draws random things on a piece of paper while his staff makes everything....

We had been sitting in the car for far too many hours, and decided to get some exercise. We took a bike trail to the beach in San Francisco. It was so fun! And Exhausting! On the right is Ed, our host.
