Day 10 - New Mexico

We took a scenic highway from Amarillo, TX to Santa Fe, NM and saw some very unique scenery! There were numerous times on the highway where the speed limit was 65 mph and traffic lights were randomly placed about. It was a little scary...

A view of the desert and mountains from the highway.

Nathan!

The mountains had such pretty colors! And the sky was actually that blue. It was incredible!

We drove about 20 minutes and the landscape completely changed. It was much colder and everything was green! This was a huge meadow that went on for miles!
Anyone who knows Nathan is aware that he loves for everything to be under control. He was convinced that this river was going to poison me... so I had to touch it! He had the Purel hand sanitizer ready for me as soon as I returned to the car.
Santa Fe was a really nice town, but it all the buildings had a very similar architecture. We agreed that it looked a lot like Disney created it.

And finally, another flattering picture of Nathan's dinner! It was actually very very tasty...
