Our drive from New Mexico to Colorado took quite some time. However, the change in scenery between the two states was drastic and as a result we took a lot of pictures! Here are a few of them...
This was our first look at Colorado at the state line.
The desert had COMPLETELY disappeared.
We found snow!
And treacherous roads!
My car made it to 100,000 miles! Unfortunately, later on this evening we realized my car needed a minor repair job which put a damper on the car's achievement!
When we finally reached Colorado Springs, we went to a nice used bookstore/coffee shop/pizza parlor! Live music accompanied our dinner and we bought Father's Day Cards before getting ready for our day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
